All offline stores closed, while the online store runs as usual. However, to follow the the Alert Level 4 regulations, only essential goods would be available to purchase until further notice. As for HIKOCO, these "essential goods" includes skin care products only, and not makeup products. All purchased goods will be delivered through the NZ Post "contactless delivery" system, and the "Pick Up In-Store" option would be made unavailable during Level 4.
COVID-19 Alert Level 4 - AucklandHIKOCO's distribution centre is located in Auckland, which continues to operate under COVID-19 Alert Level 4 restrictions. This means minimum staff would be working at the warehouse, wearing face masks at all times, and keeping a safe distance between workers. Level 4 restrictions are expected to remain in place in the Auckland region until Tuesday 21 September 2021.
NZ Post delivery delays
We have been informed that due to significant increases in the number of parcels being sent around New Zealand and additional safety procedures in place for COVID-19, NZ Post is experiencing some delivery delays. Please allow an additional 1-3 working days after dispatch for delivery of your order.
As per our Prime Minister’s announcement made earlier today, Auckland will be entering Level 4 Alert Restriction due to the positive case of the Delta variant.
Following our previous regulations, HIKOCO will be closing all offline stores as of 17th August 11.59pm. All stores will remain closed until the restrictions are lifted, for the safety of our Beauties, community, and our staff. Our online store will be running as per usual.
The safety of our customers and our staff is our main concern, and we do strongly recommend that you stay home as much as possible during these times. We’re ready to take the Delta variant out from the country as we did with COVID-19 before! Let’s continue to work as a team 💪
Stay safe Beauties, see you soon!
