HI-REVIEW: Dr. Jart Dis-A-Pore Beauty Balm SPF30 PA++

Dr.Jart+ is a crowd pleaser and one of my favorite skincare brands ever! This will be my first time trying their makeup line, specifically the Dis-A-Pore Beauty Balm. I’m very excited to show you what I’ve learnt 👇

Did you know Dr.Jart+ was one of the first to introduce beauty balms to the United States 👀 ? Following their history with bb creams, the multi-function Dis-A-Pore Beauty Balm is designed to deliver natural coverage, sun protection, hydration, anti- wrinkle and pore tightening benefits. This BB cream is ideal for oily and combination skin that are experiencing any redness, hyperpigmentation, blemishes, pores and fine lines, while keeping it bright and healthy looking 👑 . It is also dermatologically tested for sensitive and acne-prone skin!

An important key ingredient in the Dis-A-Pore Beauty Balm is the Okra Fruit Extract 🌱 , which contains mucin and rich vitamins that helps preventing aging from the skin and maintain skin’s strength and firmness for a smooth, even texture. Mastic Gum and Non-Nano Powder Particles can also be found in the formula. Known for its anti-aging benefits, they help to control excess sebum production on the skin’s surface to protect the skin, keeping it soft and clear. Other than that, the bb cream also comes with SPF30 and PA++ to protect the skin from harmful and damaging UVA and UVB Rays without causing any irritation 🌞 .

This bb cream’s formula has got to be one of my favorites so far! The texture is not exactly fluid or thick, but it’s nice and silky, smooth. The bb cream is not drying at all, it’s hydrating enough to sit on top of my skin comfortably with a soft matte finish 💧 . Dis-A-Pore is formulated to produce less of a dark, gray cast unlike other BB creams, and I can definitely see that! It has a lightweight consistency which glides on smoothly without any stickiness, but still delivers a natural full coverage that conceals most of my redness and acne scars. 

Personal Thoughts

The Dis-A-Pore Beauty Balm has became my new go-to product for my daily base makeup! I was never a big fan of bb creams, but this has definitely changed my mind ✨ . Once I applied, my skin texture is so smooth and supple, I was really surprised! It doesn’t feel heavy but still hydrating enough for my semi-dry combo skin. I noticed the bb cream also lasts quite a long time on my skin, other than the oily t-zones. I’m overall very impressed that I didn’t need to touch up even after a 7 hour shift.

I recommend this bb cream to any beauties with normal to oily skin, especially those looking for good coverage and withstands long hours without breaking down. Since it’s not too intense and heavy, it would work for most skin type 🙆 . However for the dry skin beauties out there, I can’t guarantee how the texture will work on very dry skin, it might not be the best since it is quite matte. Other than that, I highly suggest anyone to give it a try, it will not disappoint!
