Hope everyone’s wrapping up 2019 in the best of ways possible! 💫 This month, I finally got the chance to try out this quick makeup hack called the “one-swipe” eyeshadow look with Heimish’s Taping Eye Shadow (in #Peach Coral)! 🍑 This is my first makeup tutorial/review, so I’m pumped to be writing about this “3-colour, 2-concept” palette today 👁️

How to use: 

Use the multi-brush included inside the package and swipe through the eye shadow about 3 times before applying onto your eyelids.

I love how cute and tiny this palette is! The box that it comes in actually gives you a preview of the 3 colours available in the palette, which is a really smart packaging concept in my opinion. For the palette itself, it’s made with a soft matte plastic that gives it a minimal and delicate appearance 💗 Mainly I’ve just been enjoying how easy it is to pop it into my purse/bag, as it is a must for me to bring makeup out for on-the-go touch ups! 🏃🏻‍♀️

This palette comes with three soft colours - a baby pink, light coral and pinky brown 🐻

The first thing I was curious about was to see if the “one-swipe” eyeshadow technique actually worked! 🌟 Using the flat mini brush provided, I ran through all the colours about 3-4 times before applying the shadow on my lids. My verdict...I’d say that it doesn’t work as miraculously as shown on the promo photos, because the pigment of the colours in this palette are too light/natural. It gave me a subtle wash of coral which brightened up my eyes a little, but I did have to pack on colours and blend everything out more (with my fingertips for stronger pigment) to get this pretty look:

PERSONAL THOUGHTS

It’s a really handy little palette to have and I will continue to bring it out with me in my purse/bag! 👜 I’m happy that I finally own a cute palette that’s a convenient size and has all the colours that I love and use pretty much everyday. I think people who are lazy 😴 with makeup will also enjoy this palette because it does save you the trouble of using multiple palettes and brushes just to create a simple everyday look!

I adore how soft and lightly shimmery the colours are as well - “no-makeup makeup” and “mono-shadow” looks are very in these days, so grab this palette to let your natural beauty shine through this summer 👼
