Hi Beauties! 🌸

Everyone knows the ever famous AHA BHA PHA Miracle Toner from Some By Mi, but did you know they have a brightening range as well? The Some By Mi Galactomyces Pure Vitamin C Glow Serum has recently joined HIKOCO and I had the chance to try it out ✨

Price: $58 NOW $37!!

Quantity: 30ml

Product Description:

“Infuse bright energy into the skin with pure vitamin C & Galactomyces.”

How to Use:

Drop serum on the skin and spread with fingertips along the texture line. Apply Vitamin Serum 3 times if you want to create layers of moisture and vitality coating on the skin.

The Glow Serum is packed with great brightening goodness! One of the crucial ingredient is of course, 75% galactomyces! It is naturally fermented to help increase skin resilience and vitality, giving your skin a brighter, smoother and radiant look.

3% Pure Vitamin C can also be found in this serum 🍋 This ingredient is widely known to help with brightening your skin tone, lessening pigmentation, achieving a smooth and clear complexion. Vitamin C is also great in the anti-aging department!

Other than the brightening aspect, Some By Mi take pride in their mild but effective ingredients. The serum contains 9 other vitamins (B3, H, E to name a few), they are soothing, moisturizing and boosts the effects of vitamin C! Most of the serum is made up of 12 natural extracts and complexes, they are packed with moisture and nutrients, amazing for balancing the skins health. The Glow Serum is also free of 20 harsh ingredients, so there won’t be any irritations on sensitive skin!

The Glow Serum is tea colored with a gel like consistency. It does have a slight citrusy scent, which is normal for a serum that contains vitamin C. Unlike other brightening serums, the scent is not extremely strong and is definitely bearable! The consistency is not oily or liquid-y, it is similar to a watered down gel (I can’t explain it well, I’m sorry 😭). It does have a slight sticky finish, but it is easily absorbed and not heavy at all! The serum is very gentle and leaves the skin hydrated and moisturized.

Personal Thoughts:

After using the Glow Serum for 3 weeks, my skin definitely feel much more clear and plump! I have very sensitive skin and was afraid of using brightening products that contain active ingredients, but this serum completely changed that mindset. Because of the mild ingredients they used, the serum was gentle when applied and it did not sting or irritate my acne spots either! My skin texture is so much more smoother and my skin tone has evened out majorly. I can’t wait to continue using this serum 😍

I really recommend this serum to beauties who have dull, uneven skin tone and struggles with pigmentation spots! Even if you have acne-prone or sensitive skin, I believe that this will be fine and won’t irritate at all. However, if you are looking for a serum with a higher percentage of vitamin c, then this may not be it, since it only contains 3%. This serum is more on the gentle and mild side, so it may not have the same effects as other vitamin c serums. Other than that, beauties with any skin type can definitely try this serum out!

Thanks for reading my rambles 💖

Stay gorgeous 🌸 till next time~

Is the serum supposed to be clear? Mine is tea colored and I know most vitamin c serums are clear. I’m concerned that it may be oxidized. What are your thoughts on the shelf stability of this product? Thanks!

    Hi Dana,

It is fine if you get the serum around your eyes or mouth, but I would recommend not to apply it directly! Although it is a very gentle serum, it still has 3% of Vitamin C. Just be careful, especially if you have sensitive skin!

Hi, I just bought this product from you store in CBD but forgot to ask how to use it and I see there’s no mention about eye and mouth area. Is it safe and recommended to use it on the eyes and mouth area?
    Thanks
