Pastry Chef Showdown

Starting the month strong, AUT is hosting a free live Pastry Chef showdown between New Zealand’s best Pastry Chefs. Let’s see them battle it out to claim 2024’s ‘Pastry Chef of the Year’ title!

Chocolate Tour

On August 14, Oonagh Browne calls all chocoholics to a chocolate tour promoting sustainable cocoa production in the Pacific. The ticketed event sheds light on fair cocoa production for Pasifika growers and communities. Come along and discover the delicious world of ethical chocolate making 🍫

Gala Dinner

Finishing off, on August 16, AUT’s School of Hospitality & Tourism team up with Pacific Food Lab Aotearoa to showcase South Pacific food and Pacific-themed performances over a Gala Dinner. The Gala Dinner's ticket sales will go towards study opportunities within the Pacific and student food-related research. Delicious dinner for an incredible cause 🙌🏻
