Strawberry matcha just seems to be the it-girl of 'morning coffees' these days, always looking pretty on our feed, and of course, delicious too! If youโre anything like me, youโre probably looking for excuses to have matcha in every meal. So meet the levelled up version of our favourite sweet-treat drink ๐
Prep Time
5 min
Servings
1 person
Breakfast
40g rolled oats
120ml milk of choice
1 tsp matcha powder
3 tbsp coconut yoghurt
1 tbsp sweetener/sugar of choice
ยผ tsp vanilla extract
3 chopped strawberries
1 scoop protein powder (optional)
1 tbsp chia seeds (optional)
In a container, add all ingredients except for strawberries and mix thoroughly until combined.
If you wish to add protein powder, I recommend 1 scoop of protein powder, and 180ml of milk to thin the mixture out.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 3 hours, or overnight. The longer the mixture sits, the thicker the oats will be so feel free to add milk accordingly <3
Before serving, give oat mixture a stir, add strawberries, and any other toppings of your choice.
Breakfast made delicious, and in less than 5 minutes! Overnight oats are perfect to make the night before especially if you find yourself rushing out the door in the mornings. Full of carbs, protein and fibre, this quick & easy to-go breakfast will give you all the energy you need for the day.
