Stop frowning at your screen and hunching over your phone - it’s bad for your neck, back, skin, posture…

Rewind. Your childhood self didn’t picture you lying in a dark room, on your phone. They pictured you out and about living your life to the fullest; savouring the sun with a good book or morning stretch, cooking up delicious meals, and smashing that hike for some unreal scenes.

There was life before our smartphones, smartwatches, airpods and numerous monitors, and happiness beyond these screens still exists! It’s time to channel your energy towards activities that give you energy back, and reconnect you with the world, joy, and a positive mindset.

Tune in and go with the flow:

Low-Energy

(Maximum Chill, Minimum Movement)

Drained? If you’re running on low battery, let’s plug in to something lo-fi and chill - we’re talking ultimate relaxation, gentle focus, and unravelling that knotted string of todo’s tugging at your consciousness.

We’d like to preface that low energy is not being lazy; everyone needs a quiet moment from time to time, and a cosy retreat for your mind and soul might be exactly what you need to prepare for a busy week ahead! Let yourself recharge peacefully and with purpose, in the comfort of your home.

Channelling Through:

🎨 Adult colouring books

Embrace creativity with minimal effort! Colour between the lines - or don't.

☘️ Nature sketching & doodling

Immerse yourself in Mother Nature and find the beauty in small things.

💅🏼 Painting your nails

Vibe to your favourite playlist or listen to a fun podcast!

💭 Get lost in books

Escape for a little, and fall through the pages of a good book.

Medium-Energy

(Move a Little, Feel a Lot)

Hit the sweet spot between stillness and sweat! This is for the days where you’re feeling ready to engage your body and mind with intentional movement, but don’t want to feel sore the next day.

Remind yourself of the joys in simple tasks; the kind that get you up and about, with a side of creative stimulation. Explore places you’ve never been, experiment with a new recipe, and reconnect with hobbies you told yourself ‘I’ll get back to that later’ but you haven’t touched since.

Channelling Through:

🥣 Cooking or baking

Taste-test your creativity and chef yourself up! Cook your signature, or bake up something new...

🕯️ Organise your desk

Turn your station into a space that speaks to you - fuel for your motivation.

👟 Go for a walk

Let your mind and legs wander round the suburbs or city, without your device.

🧘🏻‍♀️ Gentle yoga & stretching

Move with the flow, take in some Vitamin D and breathe to recharge.

High-Energy

No screen can compete with real, human experiences. Think back to times when racing bikes down the driveway and play-pretend games in your backyard kept you going for hours on end - does TikTok give you the same dopamine hit? I thought not.

There’s more to it than just having fun! Whether you’re reliving your favourite childhood outdoor spot or experiencing it for the first time, nurturing your inner child can be super beneficial for emotional regulation, burnout and helping you understand your limits. Playing isn’t childish, it’s food for your soul.

Channelling Through:

🥊 Group fitness

Sign up for a class pass with a friend or by yourself, and get sweating!

⛳️ Golf or driving range

Hitting stuff with sticks >> squeezing a stressball. Every time.

🏞️ Hiking trails

Let the beauty of nature charge your energy! Hop on an adventure and take in the beautiful views.

🤿 Swimming

Dive in head first for laps, laughs and a splash of fun.

At the end of the day, it’s about sharing what makes you smile and making people’s days that little bit brighter. Don’t overthink it! Have fun, be yourself and express yourself; don’t forget this is the whole point.
