Hey Beauties!

Today I’ll be reviewing Anua’s Heartleaf 77% Soothing Toner which I heard is a popular product from Korea because of its calming properties. If you saw my last review, I’m still having skin troubles and I need every help that I can get, so this is another product that I’m really looking forward to trying out!😆

Price: $35NZD

Quantity: 250ml

Product Description:

A highly moisturizing and mildly acidic pH toner that’s infused with 77% houttuynia cordata extract along with eleven other food-grade ingredients to soothe skin troubles, regulate skin’s oil-moisture levels and protect skin.

How to use:

Apply appropriate amount on the skin after washing the face and pat light for better absorption.

The superstar ingredient of this product is Houttuynia Cordata Extract which is known for its moisturizing, anti-bacterial properties, and most notably, its anti-inflammatory. This is greatly effective for calming skin troubles.

It’s a slightly acidic toner with a pH of 5.5 to 6 that helps maintain oil and moisture balance through an optimized ingredient design. They made sure that it does its job by only adding ingredients that are needed.

Although slightly acidic, its not irritating on the skin that it can be used everyday to remove dead skin cells and prevent the occurrence of skin troubles and conduct intensive care.

Lastly, this toner contains eleven kinds of food grade ingredients as its main ingredients (EWG green grade) that is suitable for all skin types.

Personal Experience

This toner has got to be my biggest one yet. Most of my toners are only 150ml while this one is 250ml and they even have a jumbo size that’s 500ml! For a $35NZD toner, this is worth the price. This would take me months to finish up even when having to use it as a sheet mask.

In terms of texture, its not as watery as most toners are which I quite like especially during cold seasons because my skin tends to get dry. Lately, I got back to using cotton pads when applying toner because my skin has been acting out lately and I don’t wanna irritate it with my bare hands.😆 It absorbs quickly onto the skin despite having the cotton pads really soaked with toner which I think would have the same outcome as to when you apply it using your hands.

Using it for almost a month, I could say that it helped with calming my trouble areas. I also use it as a face mask by soaking my cotton pads and placing it especially in those areas that are inflamed. My skin would look less red and my acne is not stinging as much after using it. Although, it did not helped with making my acne disappear, it did bring some relief because you know painful acne can be especially during its early stages.😆

Overall, I believe this toner would work well on any skin types. I think it’s a great buy if you need a product that you can use everyday to calm your troubled areas without irritating your skin. It quickly absorbs onto the skin and does not feel sticky all. I also use this as a  face mask and it did not irritate me! AND, its bigger than other toners and its only $35NZD. What a grab right?😆

See you all on my next review!💕
