How to use:
- Dispense an appropriate amount of the cleanser onto wet palms.
- Lather the foam by rubbing in circular motions then thoroughly cleanse your face.
- Rinse with lukewarm water.

The Klairs Gentle Black Cleanser is a cruelty free product crafted with a vegan formulation. Apart from being Vegan-friendly, it is also free from harmful ingredients. Instead, it is formulated with mild surfactants, plant and fruit extracts.
Just like the other products from the Gentle Black line, this cleanser consists of Black Complex - Tuber Melanosporum Extract (Truffle), Rubus Fruticosus (Blackberry) Fruit Extract, Nigella Sativa Seed Extract, Glycine Soja (Soybean) Seed Extract.
The Black Complex works to effectively remove daily dirt, fine dust particles and excess sebum from skin. Its low pH properties help to balance and strengthen skin’s acidic barrier so the skin is healthier and less prone to unwanted problems such as moisture loss and sensitivity.
Personal Opinion
The Gentle Black Facial Cleanser comes in a tall, slim, cream colored plastic tube. The texture of this product is a lot more dense than most of the cleansers on the market, but once you add water to it lather forms effortlessly. I’ve tried a few low pH cleansers before and they all tend to be less foamy. However, with the Gentle Black Facial Cleanser you get sufficient foam forming which I enjoyed a lot.
Despite being a really foamy cleanser, I’m very impressed by the fact that it does not feel too stripping on my skin which is a common problem with most foam cleansers. This cleanser does not leave residue films or occlusive feelings after rinsing, my skin just feels well cleansed and refreshed which I personally prefer. This cleanser also does not have any detectable scents which is a bonus for beauties with sensitive skin ✅
I have really enjoyed using this cleanser for the past month! This product works as an effective daily purifying cleanser and perfect for my combination/dry and sensitive skin!
I think this product would actually be a good choice for beauties with all skin types! Since it is a very gentle and pH balancing cleanser, it can also be used in the mornings for beauties with more oily skin for a fresh start of the day 🌸
