HI-REVIEW: Pyunkang Yul Low PH Pore Deep Cleansing Foam

Hey Beauties, HIKOCO has released a few new products recently, and if you know me, then you know I can’t resist trying a new cleanser! For the past few weeks I’ve been using the new Pyunkang Yul Low PH Pore Deep Cleansing Foam and let me be the first to tell you that it’s definitely worth the hype.

How to Use: 

1. Take an adequate amount onto your palm and create a lather.
2. Gently massage onto your face.
3. After cleansing off makeup and impurities, rinse thoroughly with warm water.

The Low PH Pore Deep Cleansing Foam is not your average cleanser. It's a two-step pore-deep cleansing foam that uses microfoam particles and AHA ingredients to bid adieu to impurities and dead skin cells lurking in your pores. 

While those familiar with K-Beauty have probably used a product with AHA, Pyunkang Yul also adds Witch Hazel Extract and Beta Glucan to this cleanser. This provides rapid soothing and calming effects on sensitive skin without the dreaded irritation that acids like AHA often cause.

Personal Review 

Let me start by saying that the Low PH Pore Deep Cleansing Foam has earned a permanent spot in my skincare routine. As someone with sensitive skin, finding a cleanser that gently cleanses without causing redness or dryness is like finding a needle in a haystack. But this cleanser? It's a game-changer.

The first thing I noticed was how little product I needed to achieve a deep clean. Just a small amount of foam lathers up beautifully, covering my entire face and neck. The foam has almost no scent and I find the texture incredibly soothing and not at all drying. 

After using this cleanser for a few weeks, I noticed a decent improvement in my skin's texture and tone. The cleanser aims to target pores and while I didn’t actually see a massive reduction in my pore size, I did feel a difference in texture. After a week my skin started producing less sebum and I had a more even complexion. My skin looked brighter and more radiant and I experienced fewer breakouts, which is a huge win for someone with skin like mine.

I also appreciate the thoughtful formulation of this cleanser. It's gentle enough for daily use but effective enough to remove makeup and impurities without stripping my skin of its natural oils. Plus, the fact that it's suitable for all skin types means I can confidently recommend it to friends and family with different skincare needs.
