Product Features
Round Lab claims that this toner locks in intense hydration whilst reducing wrinkles, and for the past few weeks I've been putting these claims to the test. But before we go into whether or not this toner does what it claims to do, let’s have a quick look at the ingredients.
This toner contains a lot of yummy skin-loving ingredients which give it its hydrating properties. Some of these ingredients are, Glycerin - known for helping with intense hydration, Black Bean Seed Extract - used to help promote wrinkle reduction, hydrating powerhouse Hyaluronate (the more hydrating sibling of Hyaluronic Acid!) and Ceramide NP - proven to help reduce the look of tired dehydrated skin, and so many more amazing hydrating ingredients! So with all these ingredients combined, how does this toner perform when put to the test?
Personal Experience
I’ll start off with the first thing I love about this toner, which is how much product you get for such a low price! The bottle holds 300ml of toner and at less than $35 it’s an absolute steal! The bottle comes with a small dispensing lid, making it easy to dispense small amounts without it spilling everywhere.
The toner itself has a really nice texture. It’s very thin and almost milky consistency, but don’t let that fool you, this toner is seriously hydrating. After just the first use, I could feel a difference in how hydrated my skin felt and I love how it’s light enough for you to layer up ampoules and serums on top of it, without it piling.
It doesn’t really have any scent at all - awesome for Beauties with sensitive skin! And it’s gentle enough for me to use around my sensitive eyes without any issues at all. I like to use it first thing in the morning after washing my face, before applying thicker skincare, and at night, before I start layering up my nighttime skincare products. It makes for a really good base for other products too! Like creating a hydrated and slightly tacky to the touch base before you apply makeup meaning it helps hold products like concealer, foundation, or even blush, in place!
The only thing I wish was slightly different about this toner is that I really wish it came with a spray head, so that I can use it during the day to spritz on my face when my skin needs a little more hydration. But other than that, Round Lab has really hit the nail on the head with this Soybean Nourishing Toner, and I'm looking forward to incorporating more of their products into my skincare routine in the future!
