Hi Beauties! New in, Numbuzin’s No.1 Pantothenic B5 Active Soothing Cream has arrived to complete the much-loved No.1 range - one perfect for acne-prone skin. If you’re looking to soothe, treat, and protect this winter, read on!

Product Description

Numbuzin’s No.1 line is specifically formulated for acne care. Unlike most acne-targeting products, which rely on soothing ingredients like Centella or Heartleaf, the No.1 line introduces Pantothenic Acid or Vitamin B5.

While Pantothenic Acid isn’t naturally produced in the skin, this essential nutrient works wonders when applied topically. It is especially beneficial to acne-prone and oily skin as it works to control excess oil, a common cause of acne. Less excess oil, less breakouts!

The more common form of Vitamin B5, Panthenol, is also essential for fighting acne. With 1% Panthenol, any acne is actively soothed thanks to its anti-inflammatory properties.

Derived from the vitamin, Panthenol is also a great skin-barrier repair ingredient. A healthy skin barrier acts as a shield for your skin, keeping bacteria out. However, when your skin barrier is damaged, your skin is more susceptible to acne and overproduction of oil. Panthenol works by strengthening the skin barrier, supporting the skin’s natural ability to fight acne.

Personal Review

I was very, very excited to try the brand new Numbuzin No.1 Pantothenic Cream. When it was first released, I tried a small amount on the back of my hand and fell in love with the light, cold, and velvety finish.

Now, this review is quite an interesting one as the cream is typically best suited for oily skin, which I don’t really have as a dry-skin girly. However, I must say I was very impressed! I found that the lightweight gel texture allowed for hydration to penetrate deep into the skin, leaving a non-sticky glow to my complexion. Thanks to the careful formulation of Pantothenic Acid and Zinc PCA, I noticed the slight oiliness I occasionally see on my nose and chin completely gone. The rest of my face, which is always quite dry, was still hydrated and bouncy. The ability to control oil while still being deeply hydrating is amazing!

There’s a Korean term soo-boo-ji (수부지), which refers to a skin type that’s oily on the surface but lacks moisture inside. This is a very common skin type that we often refer to as dehydrated skin. If your skin feels oily but is thirsty for deep hydration, I think this is the perfect cream for you!

While the cream is excellent for preventing acne, how does it soothe active acne? Panthenol is a superstar at soothing irritated and inflamed skin. I had a few raging pimples on my hairline that would not go away no matter what I did. After incorporating the No.1 Pantothenic Acid Active Soothing Cream, I noticed they got smaller and less noticeable. Not only does it keep the skin hydrated, but it also calms red and angry acne spots!

While deep cleansing and exfoliation are very important when you’re dealing with acne, sometimes Salicylic Acid, Retinoids, and strong actives feel like too much. If you’re after a proactive acne treatment for everyday use, the No.1 Pantothenic Cream is perfect.

For a low-maintenance routine, it does a great job at soothing existing acne but preventing further breakouts with its mild ingredients. You can treat your acne quickly and simply with the fuss-free gel cream!
