Had really high hopes for this product as it markets itself as minimalist and sensitive-skin safe. It’s even fungal acne safe. Unfortunately gave me an allergic reaction as soon as I applied it - my skin felt warm and tingly, the next morning woke up with raised bumpy skin texture and feeling itchy. Either I’m allergic to heartleaf or the multiple types of silicone in its top ingredients.
My skin loves this! Combo acne prone and this sits so well under make up without feeling heavy or taking ages to soak in. It gives Tatcha Water Cream without the price tag 🤌🏽
Heartleaf Creme Calming Tube
My skin is eczema prone and very fragile. I had NO reaction to this cream. I prefer the balm version with a drop of oil over this because my skin is THAT dry. I have tried almost every barrier repairing cream in Hikoco and this is such a good no frills moisturiser. It isn't enough for my skin but it would've been perfect for me in my early twenties!
If you have oily skin, this can be quite heavy so I would recommend it at night only.
Probably a moisturiser more suited for the warmer months.
