Before First Use

Fully charge the Booster Pro X2 before using it for the first time.

Press and hold the Power/Level Button for approximately 2–3 seconds to switch the device on.

Briefly press the Mode Button to move through the modes:
Booster X2 → MC X2 → Derma Shot X2 → Dual → Mask → Air Shot X2

The selected mode is indicated on the LCD screen together with its corresponding LED colour and voice guidance.

Briefly press the Power/Level Button to adjust the intensity. Six intensity levels are available. For your first session, begin at Level 1 and increase gradually as you become accustomed to the device.

Most Booster X2, MC X2, Derma Shot X2 and Dual sessions are recommended for approximately 5–10 minutes. MEDICUBE states that these skincare-assisted modes can generally be used 1–3 times daily, depending on your routine and skin comfort. Air Shot X2 has a separate usage schedule outlined below. 

Booster X2 Mode – Red LED

1. Complete cleansing and apply a sufficient amount of your preferred serum, ampoule, gel or cream.
2. Select Booster X2 Mode and begin at a comfortable intensity.
3. Keep the treatment head in contact with the skin and gently glide it across the treatment area.
4. Move from the centre of the face outwards using slow circular or gliding motions to help distribute and absorb your skincare.
5. Continue for approximately 5–10 minutes.
6. After treatment, gently pat any remaining skincare into the skin.

This mode can generally be incorporated into a daily skincare routine. Ensure there is enough product on the skin for comfortable movement rather than repeatedly dragging the device across dry skin. 

MC X2 Mode – Green LED

1. Apply skincare before treatment. A cream, gel or other moisturising formula that provides sufficient slip can make the device easier to glide.
2. Select MC X2 Mode and choose your intensity.
3. Place the treatment head firmly but comfortably against the skin.
4. Glide the device slowly upwards, rather than pulling the skin downwards.
5. Focus on areas where you would like a smoother, more plump and defined-looking appearance, such as the forehead, cheeks and areas around the mouth.
6. Continue for approximately 5–10 minutes.

Maintain continuous comfortable contact with the skin. If the skincare has absorbed and the device no longer glides smoothly, apply additional suitable skincare rather than using excessive pressure. 

Derma Shot X2 Mode – Orange LED

1. Apply a moisturising cream, gel or other skincare product that allows the treatment head to maintain good contact with the skin.
2. Select Derma Shot X2 Mode.
3. Place the device against the area you wish to target.
4. On key facial points, pause for approximately 1–2 seconds before moving to the next area.
5. Follow with slow, gentle outward or upward movements, focusing particularly on areas such as the cheeks and jawline.
6. Continue for approximately 5–10 minutes.

You may notice muscle stimulation or movement during EMS use. Start from Level 1 and increase only to a setting that remains comfortable. 

Dual Mode – Yellow LED

1. Apply sufficient skincare to the treatment area before beginning.
2. Select Dual Mode.
3. Choose an appropriate intensity, starting from Level 1 for first-time use.
4. Keep the treatment head in comfortable contact with the skin while moving slowly across the desired areas.
5. Use for approximately 5–10 minutes.

Dual Mode operates two compatible technologies simultaneously so that two types of care can be incorporated into one session. For greater control over which modes are combined, connect the Booster Pro X2 to the AGE-R App, where Dual Mode combinations can be customised. 

Mask Mode – Purple LED

1. After cleansing, apply an essence-rich sheet mask evenly over the face.
2. Select Mask Mode.
3. Starting at Level 1 if you are new to the device, gently glide the treatment head over the surface of the sheet mask.
4. Make sure the mask remains sufficiently saturated with essence so that the device can move comfortably.
5. Complete your sheet mask routine according to the mask’s own usage directions.
6. Remove the mask and gently pat the remaining essence into the skin.

MEDICUBE specifically recommends sheet masks containing plenty of essence rather than gel masks for Mask Mode. The official routine guide lists Mask Mode for up to once daily, while the duration of the sheet mask itself should still follow the individual mask’s directions.

Air Shot X2 Mode – Blue LED

Air Shot X2 is used differently from every other primary mode.

1. Cleanse the skin thoroughly.
2. Dry the face completely. Do not apply toner, serum, ampoule, cream or other skincare before Air Shot X2 Mode.
3. Select Air Shot X2 Mode and begin at Level 1.
4. Gently move the device over areas where visible pores or uneven texture are a concern.
5. Use for approximately 5 minutes.
6. After finishing Air Shot X2 Mode, continue with your normal skincare routine.

MEDICUBE recommends Air Shot X2 2–3 times per week, rather than multiple times daily. It should be performed before skincare whenever combining it with other modes. 

Recommended Order When Using Multiple Modes

For a more complete routine, MEDICUBE recommends layering the modes in the following order:
1. Air Shot X2 – on clean, dry skin
2. Apply skincare
3. Booster X2
4. MC X2
5. Derma Shot X2 or Dual Mode

Mask Mode is used separately over a sheet mask.

You do not need to use every mode in every routine. Select the modes that suit your current skincare goals and skin comfort. 

AGE-R App & Bluetooth Connection

The Booster Pro X2 can be used without the AGE-R App for its standard modes.

To access AI Mode, Dual Mode customisation, remote control and personalised reports, download the AGE-R App and create an account.

1. Turn on the Booster Pro X2.
2. Open the AGE-R App on your smartphone.
3. Select Connect to Booster Pro X2.
4. Follow the in-app instructions to pair the device via Bluetooth.

Once paired, the device is designed to reconnect automatically via Bluetooth when switched on. 

Changing the Voice Guide Language

The device supports English, Korean, Japanese and Chinese voice guidance.

1. Switch the device on.
2. Press and hold the Power/Level Button and Mode Button together for approximately 3 seconds to enter the language setting.
3. Press the Mode Button to move through the available languages.
4. Press the Power/Level Button to save your selected language.

After Use & Cleaning

After completing your treatment, gently pat any remaining skincare into the skin.

Wipe skincare residue from the treatment head with a clean, soft cloth after each use. Do not store the device with skincare residue remaining on the head.

Store the device in a cool, well-ventilated place.

Keep Booster Pro X2 away from magnetic objects and magnetically sensitive items such as credit cards, televisions and monitors.

Important Precautions

Avoid using the device directly over the Adam’s apple/front centre of the neck and avoid using it too close to the eyes. Follow the recommended treatment areas shown in the user guide.

Do not use Booster Pro X2 if you use wearable electronic medical equipment, electrical life-support equipment or implanted/mounted electrical medical equipment.

Always start at Level 1 when using the device for the first time. Increase the intensity gradually and do not assume that a higher level will provide better results.

When using skincare containing AHA, BHA, PHA, retinol or high concentrations of vitamin C, introduce use with the device gradually. If you are new to these ingredients or have sensitive skin, MEDICUBE recommends reducing the frequency or avoiding use with the device until your skin has adjusted. Always follow the individual skincare product’s instructions.
