The hydration lasts only a few hours. Could not feel any moisturising effect at all.

I only used this once and it cleared my skin in one night! 100% recommend
I didn't feel the moisture effect and skin still feels dry :(
I have mature skin that is very dehydrated but t-zone is still a little oily. So what works for me is skincare that's hydrating and calming/soothing but not moisturising. This is one of the best serums I have used (and I have tried many). It's fantastic for layering and is not sticky or tacky on the skin. In the winter, my heating is on for many hours of the day and this serum goes a long way to help with hydrating my skin as part of my nighttime routine. During the summer, it not only hydrates but also cools down my heated skin. Once in a while my skin will start to become sensitised from either the weather, my medication (which I have to take permanently and it really dehydrates my skin), or using a little too much actives on my skin. This serum when used along with other calming products (centella), really soothes my sensitised skin.
