Too Rough in Texture! Gentle Black Cleansing Puff!

I don't know why it is called "Gentle"?
Cleansing sponges and tools are great when you have false lashes and don't want to get water/oils into the eye area. I've used a sponge from Bali in the past that was extremely soft, spongy, kind of latex/rubbery in texture yet effective in cleansing (better than hands) without being scratchy and rough! In comparison this cleansing puff is very course, rough and cheap feeling. I give this a 3 as I will still use it but would not purchase again.

I find this sponge (not really a puff at all imho) especially useful for removing facial masks that have a clay type consistency. It's sort of like a chamois or a 'face squeegee' - removing the thick mask without pulling or being rough on my skin.

It gets the job done.

I bought this while the "Professional 100% Konjac Jelly Cleansing Puff" was still available, because it was cheaper. I have tried both products and I definitely preferred the Jelly Puff over this one. The positives for this one is that for the price point it's good, it does foam up your cleanser. The negatives: the surface is too smooth and it's awkward to hold.
