As someone who has oily acne-prone skin that can be dehydrated (and can breakout from a dehydrated skin barrier due to working inside with air-conditioning all year round), you wouldn't think I'd like this cushion. But I've found myself going for this cushion as a daily base more and more in the last year, so much so thag I've repurchased it a few times since.

Compared to previous favourite cushions that have more coverage (Hera black cushion, Clio kill cover the mesh glow cushion, and Clio kill cover the new founwear cushion), it's definitely sheer coverage. It covers enough to even out my skin tone of any slight redness in my cheeks with a natural hydrating effect, and surprisingly blurs and fills pores and helps to minimise texture due to the super glowy consistency. I have noticeable pores, blackheads, and freckles and ice pick scar texture on both cheeks, but this cushion sits beautifully on top. However, if I am breaking out, it does not cover any redness from acne, nor does it fully cover any dark circles or healing acne scars (but that's what concealing is for).

I would recommend using water-based sunscreen, primers, and concealers with it, as it can pill and slip on silicone-based primers, or sunscreens that are too heavy, due to the high water content of the formula. My go-to routine with it is an essence sunscreen or chemical sunscreen, the Wet n Wild impossible primer (water-based and non-silicone), applying the cushion, some spot concealing with the MAC pro longwear concealer, and the Catrice true skin high coverage concealer on my forehead, cheeks, and undereyes. Finish off with powdering all over with the MUFE ultra hd setting powder (which is a must for me with all my base make up), and I find it unexpectedly wears beautifully during the day. Yes, the glow does come back through after a few hours despite powdering (hi oily skin), and yes I usually have to blot and/or powder at lunchtime, but it doesn't get cakey or break up when wearing down (and I don't reapply during the day).

The glow is very intense when initially on, and the shades run light, but I've yet to find a tint at a reasonable price that matches how beautiful this cushion is. It's super easy to apply, wears nicely throughout the day, and my skin feels comfortable when I removed it at night. But, if you prefer one-and-done coverage, or don't like being shiny/glowy at all despite powdering, then you may not like this cushion.

I'm hoping rom&nd don't discontinue this, because it's definitely underrated and become a surprising grail of mine.

I really like it because my face look soft and very smooth

its a subtle finish and has a nice consistency and smell. I use it in combo with concealer where needed. Some people might prefer to build up it up over layers.

Gives a nice glow and is hydrating so might not be the best for oily skin types. Has buildable coverage but is definitely natural. Has a nice quality sponge with it and is the perfect winter shade for me. Does have a strong scent though which is a bit off putting.
