Easily absorbed, after 2 weeks of use I see a difference in texture it's smooth and soft

Just repurchased my second bottle!
I chose this over retinol because it’s very forgiving. I’m able to apply it in the daytime & have never had any irritation even with sensitive dry skin.
So far I have seen a noticeable improvement in skin texture, it feels resurfaced and smooth

I really like the feel of this serum - it's sort of milky and gives an instant softening effect to my skin. It's too soon to tell if it's helping with well-aging, but I find my skin softer the next morning (when applied at night).

Unfortunately I do find the serum to be occasionally irritating... my skin is not particularly sensitive, it handles products like tretinoin and most essential oils fine, but I'm finding that if my skin is already a bit unhappy (a bit dried out or irritated by something else, etc) this product is in the 'makes things worse' category.

The scent is meh, it's clear that a lot of the botanical ingredients were meant to cover up the earthiness of the bakuchiol with something a bit softer and more floral... it's fine, pretty mild considering how strong other bakuchiol products are, but some might find it objectionable.

Lastly, I HATE the packaging! I've read that a lot of people are not fans of the button dropper and I don't love that either, but more importantly - the bottle itself is both completely opaque and shockingly heavy for plastic, and there's a thing in the neck of the bottle so you can't peer inside either. This means it's IMPOSSIBLE to tell how much product you have left, you just randomly run out one day. Not cool.

Overall, I liked this serum but it's not a favourite product. I'll be trying the Benton Bakuchiol serum next and see how they compare.
