Start small and slow!
- After using essence or serum, pat a small amount using your ring finger. Apply evenly over the face, neck, and onto parts with wrinkle concerns.
- Limit initial use to three times per week; gradually increase frequency to every other night, use as tolerated.
Week 1-2
- Frequency: use every other day at night
- How to Use: After cleansing, at the moisturizer step, apply a small amount to areas of concern.
- e.g. under eyes, mouth, forehead and neck (Recommended amount: 0.1ml per section / 1 grain of rice)
Week 3+
- Frequency: may apply everyday at night
- How to use: After cleansing, at the moisturiser step, may spread over the entire face.
- The "building tolerance" phase can be shortened or extended depending on individual differences
- Maintain this phase until no discomfort is experienced.
- Gradually increase frequency and areas of application.

The Retinol 0.3 Cream
I have used retinols daily for over 5 years now and found this product to be quite harsh. I used it 3x per week and it gave me a lot of flaking and redness for about a month before settling. I now use daily with good results. Probably too harsh for first time retinol users and those with sensitive skin.
I'm only a few weeks into using it, and since it's my first retinol active in years, my skin is taking some time to adjust (flaking, acne flare ups etc), so I use it at night fortnightly, over a serum and moisturiser. While I'm breaking out, I can still see that my skin is actually becoming smoother and my pores are slightly less obvious. I'm hoping over time once my skin is adjusted, I'll be able to fully appreciate the results. I've used bakuchiol in the past as it's gentler, but I'm noticing more immediate results using this.
Severe peeling of skin
Great product, non greasy, my skin looks and feels smooth and loving the results.
