This is a nice sunscreen - the matte finish is nice. However, I have found that this pills a bit when reapplied (no make up or anything, just layering the sunscreen itself). And I could definitely do without the strong fragrance.
I’m not sure why it seems like it only pills on my skin since all the reviews dont mention it but somehow it always pills on me so I can’t wear it underneath makeup. The texture is nice and it’s very moisturising but the fragrance is quite strong and eventually it leaves a few dry patches for me? My skin isn’t super dry and this doesn’t happen for other sunscreens so I’m not sure why. I only wear this when I’m barefaced or staying home. It pills a lot even when I just use moisturiser. I use the Dokdo lotion for reference.
This is definitely not the best performing korean sunscreen on the market. It's got chemical and physical filters, but I read somewhere that some of the filters used are outdated. Also the cream is a bit thick and has a fragrance, so can irritate some. Too heavy to wear under my makeup because I also use other hydrating skincare for my temperamental skin. However, I will keep using it until it's finished.
This is a very moisturising sunscreen, but not too greasy like those old school sunscreens. I wouldn't use this in the summer though. It could probably be used as a daytime moisturiser too, if you have oily or normal skin. It seems like it will leave a white cast when you apply it, but that goes away as you spread it out over your face. Gave 4 stars because while this is good, I prefer the MISSHA Essence for winter sunscreen.
