7 comments by Hazel Sarcilla

Hi Beauties!

Today, I’ll be reviewing Isntree Hyaluronic Acid Aqua Gel Cream. Summer time is a nightmare for oily skin types like me since it’s a challenge to find moisturizers that doesn’t feel sticky or heavy, doesn’t peel, and doesn’t clog pores. I’ve heard people raving about Isntree and I’m so excited to share with you my experience with one of their products.

Price: $29 NZD

Quantity: 100ml

Product Description: “One container contains abundant moisture without any sticky feeling.”

Key Points

1. Contains Five types of Hyaluronic Acid

Five types of Hyaluronic Acid* consisting of low, medium, and high molecules* to  provide abundant moisture to skin fast.

  • What is Hyaluronic Acid?
    • It is a component of the skin.
    • It is also called “moisture storage” as it draws in moisture 1,000 times its weight.
    • It helps maintain the necessary moisture for the skin by preventing the evaporation of moisture.
  • Meanwhile, the different sizes of HA molecules build moisture layer by layer to secure for skin hydration. It is a component of the skin.
    • Low molecular HA – quickly absorbed deep into the skin which hydrates from the inside
    • Middle Molecular HA – improves moisture density by linking moisture rings between gaps in the skin

    • High Molecular HA – preventing moisture evaporation by forming moisture-protective films

2. 3-step moisture capture system

Keeps the skin moisturized for long hours with the 3-step system* that tightly holds deep moisture.

  • The 3-Step System is as follows:
    • Moisture Supply: five types of Hyaluronic Acid consisting of low, medium, and high molecules

    • Cooling Care: contains cooling ingredients like Centella Asiatica Extract, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, and Licorice Root Extract to soothe irritated skin caused by the external environment and takes care of skin temperature

    • Moisture Protective Film: contains ingredients like Betaine, Sodium PCA, and Phytosqualene to keep skin moisturized for long hours by preventing the evaporation of moisture

3. Elastic moisture gel texture

Non-sticky moisture gel texture containing moisture fills skin with moisture through fast absorption into the skin.

PERSONAL EXPERIENCE

The Isntree Hyaluronic Acid Aqua Gel Cream comes in a tube container which makes it easy to get a proper amount of product.

I have an oily skin and have used this every morning and evening for almost 3 weeks, I can say that I really enjoyed this product! The product itself has a lightweight texture with a hint of fragrance that’s refreshing and isn’t strong at all. Upon application, it feels light and spreads out evenly onto the skin. At first it feels a bit sticky, but it doesn’t feel heavy and it dissipates after a few minutes. I didn’t break out while using this and it sits well on top of my other skincare products and even under my makeup and suncreen that keeps me moisturized and hydrated all-day!

Overall, Isntree Hyaluronic Acid Aqua Gel Cream is great for people with oily, and even sensitive/irritated skin types who seek long-lasting moisture without feeling any stickiness and clogging which made possible by the five types of Hyaluronic acid, the 3-step moisture capture system, and its elastic moisture gel texture.

Thank you all for reading! See you on my next review!

Let’s be pretty!🥰

    Hi Nishat,

It will all depend on your skin type! We would assume that you have dehydrated-oily skin, where your skin is dehydrated inside your skin layers, yet on the outside you produce oil & sebum. In this case, lotions and gel creams may not be enough to fully moisturise your skin. We recommend that you try a cream type moisturiser that’s not oil-based nor comedogenic.

Is there any chance of feeling dry or dehydrated after constant use of this stuff?
Actually every gel moisturiser dries down my skin and heavy creams make my skin oily. So i need a medium lightweight moisturiser . As it contains hyaluronic acid do i need to seal it or it has enough occlusivity ?
