This Laneige Water Sleeping Mask is very popular among a lot of people across the world and I also heard really good reviews on this product, so I knew I had to try it and once I had tried this product I was hooked

So, I’ll share my experience with this Laneige Water Sleeping Mask with all you beauties. Then let’s get started! 😉

So, this ‘Laneige Water Sleeping Mask’ is an intensive moisturising overnight mask that purifies and moisturises your skin as you sleep. It deeply hydrates to recharge dehydrated skin overnight and to give an instant radiance and suppleness with well-rested appearance the next morning as if you have had a good night’s sleep for 8 hours even though you slept for four hours.

Have you given your skin enough rest after a tiring day?

Sleep can affect our entire skin and also our bodies and metabolisms. The water loss occurs during our sleep and this is why a lot of you beauties would wake up with dry, dehydrated, thirsty parched skin, feeling tight in the morning. This “Laneige Water Sleeping Mask” is the product that prevents the moisture loss while you are sleeping!

Laneige Water Sleeping Mask contain naturally derived ingredients such as evening primrose root and hunza apricot extracts. These ingredients help brighten and clarify dull, fatigued skin overnight.

Another reason to love this product is that it’s noncomedogenic so no pore clogging which means less chance of breaking you out.

It’s recommended to all skin type but especially those with dry, dehydrated skin and oily to acne prone that lack of moisture.

Water, Butylene Glycol, Cyclopentasiloxane, Glycerin, Cyclohexasiloxane, Trehalose, Sodium Hyaluronate, Oenothera Biennis (Evening Primrose) Root Extract, Prunus Armeniaca (Apricot) Fruit Extract, Beta-Glucan, Chenopodium Quinoa Seed Extract, Ascorbyl Glucoside, Magnesium Sulfate, Zinc Sulfate, Manganese Sulfate, Calcium Chloride, Potassium Alginate, Ammonium Acryloyldimethyltaurate/Vp Copolymer, Polysorbate 20, Dimethicone, Dimethiconol, Dimethicone/Vinyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Propanediol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Stearyl Behenate, Polyglyceryl-3 Methylglucose Distearate, Hydroxypropyl Bispalmitamide MEA, Inulin Lauryl Carbamate, Alcohol, 1,2-Hexanediol, Caprylyl Glycol, Carbomer, Tromethamine, Disodium EDTA, Phenoxyethanol, Fragrance, Brilliant Blue FCF (CI 42090)

TEXTURE & SCENT

The texture of this sleeping mask is a gel like texture, so it is super lightweight and its easily spread.

It’s not sticky or tacky and this also has a nice calming scent which is infused with orange flower, rose and sandalwood which relaxes and comforts. The colour of the gel is light blue. *It DOES contain alcohol, fragrance and colour so if you are little bit too skeptical about those ingredients, you should be aware of it.

HOW TO USE

Now, how this product works is..

  1. After washing the face at night, apply this water sleeping mask at the last step of your skincare routine (after applying toner, serum, moisturisers.. etc,) right before going to bed.
  2. Dispense an appropriate amount (2.5cm in diameter) and go to sleep with this on you.
  3. Rinse this off the next morning with a lukewarm water.

(use 2-3 times a week)

MY EXPERIENCE

To start with, I really had great expectations of this product because I heard really good reviews on this product in advance and since it’s very popular globally.

After using this product, I get why it’s the best seller and it really did meet my expectation, and this became one of my favourite skincare products since it really worked well on my skin.

I often think that some of the sleeping masks out there are little bit too occlusive but with this Laneige sleeping mask I never experienced heavy feeling even after layering thick layer on top of my skin. And its lightweight texture made my skin breathable and my skin was never clogged.

And this product really reduced redness & yellowy dullness. It really calmed down the redness the next morning when I woke up. I quite enjoyed the smell as well. I was also surprised on how it did not break out my skin despite containing the alcohol, fragrance and colour in the product. (even though I have very sensitive skin.) It will depend on how sensitive your skin is, so I can’t really confirm that it would not be irritating for those with sensitive skin but for me it didn’t break me out and it wasn’t irritating.

In the next morning after applying this sleeping mask, I’ve found my complexion a lot brighter, my skin is super soft, and I woke up with really supple and hydrated skin. And my makeup applies flawlessly and a lot smoother the next day when I use this product which I love the most so I would really recommend using this for special occasions.

I think this water sleeping mask will be excellent for especially during the winter season since a lot of the people have dehydrated skin during winter.

It would also be suitable when you travel to hot and humid climate region.

Another tip of using this product during the summer time would be putting it in to fridge and applying as a cooling mask which will help bringing down heated skin.

Overall, this Laneige Water Sleeping Mask is the product that I would just insert in my evening routine whenever I think I might have a very short sleeping hours. I just love how it creates a barrier for my skin at night, it helps my dry skin stay moisturised.

Anyways guys I hope you enjoyed reading my review with the Laniege water sleeping mask! 😊

Hi!
Can this sleep cream be used with Klairs Vitamin E mask, even though the Klairs can also be used as sleeping mask?
