HI-REVIEW: Mamonde Ceramide Light Cream 🌸

I am doing a review today on the ​Mamonde Ceramide Light Cream​. I have been looking for a moisturiser that is suitable for combination to dry sensitive skin for summertime ☀️ and this ceramide light cream by Mamonde has been on the top of my list! I’m so excited to try out this cream and let you know my opinions on this product!

How to use​:

During the cream stage in the morning and evening, take an appropriate amount and gently spread along the skin’s texture from inside the outside over the entire face.

As its name suggests, the star ingredient found in this cream is ​Ceramide. Ceramide is one of the most important components of our skin as they are the type of lipids that help form the skin's barrier and help the skin retain moisture. It acts as the body’s outermost walls that protect us from the external environment. Our body produces ceramide, but if there is not enough production our skin will get problems such as dryness, itching, and irritation.

Therefore, Ceramide is a great ingredient to have in skincare, especially for people with dry skin! Mamonde has incorporated Ceramide into this cream using their special technologies explained below:

1. Powerful Hibiscus Moisture Barrier

Mamonde’s exclusively developed Ceramide PC-104 ingredient and the twice enhanced moisturising effective ingredients of the hibiscus flower strengthen the skin’s batter to deliver moisture to the deepest layers of the skin.

2. Double-Moisture BarrierTM

The Double Moisture BarrierTM technique reinforces the skin’s moisture support to ensure that it retains its deep and comforting moisture over extended periods.

3. Superior Moisture Barrier from the Foundation

Improves the skin moisture barrier that is easily shattered by fine dust and other harmful environmental factors to create healthy skin that is superior from its very foundation.

4. Lipid Networking System

The Lipid Networking System technology delivers a non-sticky, moist formula that gently adheres and forms a comforting moisture barrier that feels no different from your very own skin.

Overall, the Mamonde Moisture Ceramide Light Cream works to provide long-lasting hydration on the skin. It also offers a double moisture barrier and has been formulated with a technology to keep the texture light and non-sticky which in result, leaving the benefits of this cream to be easily absorbed by the skin and provides moisture to the deeper layers of the skin.

Personal Opinion

The Mamonde Ceramide Light Cream comes in a quite heavy - as in good quality plastic tub and is tightly sealed. It also has a second cover inside and comes with a spatula as well which is very easy hygienic.

There may be one downside to using this product for some of you which is the fragrance. Since this cream is derived from the hibiscus, it has a sweet and pleasant perfume-like scent. Personally, I do not mind the fragrance and it did not have any reactions on my skin. But this could be a thing to look out for if you are not a fan of scented products.

I have a combination to dry skin, and in Summer I need a cream that is moisturising enough and lightweight on the skin at the same time. And I think I have found the perfect product!

The​ texture​ of the cream is interesting, it is ​between a gel and a cream​. This gives the cream its lightweight application and long-lasting moisturising effect. It is very easily absorbed by the skin and once it has sunk into the skin, it leaves a slight bit of stickiness on the surface. Just a nice feeling of the skin being hydrated and plumped. My skin looked supple but not too shiny right after using this cream, and it looked just as good by the end of the day thanks to the long-lasting moisture of the cream!

Right before I started to try this product, my skin was suffering from mild peeling after using chemical peels and I had little flakes on my face. After using this cream for three days straight, I noticed ​my skin becoming a lot more supple and the flakes have disappeared​!

On top of the long-lasting hydration with Ceramide being one of the ingredients in this cream, it helped to ​repair broken skin barriers and improved skin texture​. So this cream is more than just a simple moisturiser.

Overall, I would highly recommend it for Beauties with ​all types of skin​! If you are looking for a deeply moisturising cream that is lightweight at the same time, definitely give this product a try! I would recommend​ oily skin Beauties to use this cream more in colder seasons and dry skin Beauties for Summer days​!
