Worked well on some parts of my face but also broke me out on some areas.
The balm works fine but the fragrance irritates my nose.
Love this cleansing balm, a little bit goes a long way and just melts effortlessly into the skin and removes all makeup. I always go in with a gel cleanser afterwards so not sure how it would act as a sole cleanser.
This is my holy grail when it comes to removing makeup. It’s takes off everything and it lasts me about 6-7months. I have tried other makeup up removers (oils, balms, and micellar water) but I always come back to this one! It’s affordable, doesn’t have a strong scent and does the job very well
Little backstory - I’ve used:
- Banila Co Clean it Zero Cleansing Balm
- The Face Shop Rice Water Cleansing Oil
- Clinique Take the Day Off Cleansing Balm
And I’ve got to say that Heimish All Clean Balm is my favourite in terms of affordability, comfortability, and functionality.
Affordability:
Definitely not as expensive as Clinique, (over $80 😱) and compared to Banila Co, they’re $10 cheaper with 20mL more product!
Comfortability:
Unlike The Face Shop and Clinique, product tends to get into the eyes and although it doesn’t sting or anything painful, vision gets cloudy, and gets a little uncomfortable.
Functionality:
The real test for cleansing balms that I seek for is whether they’re able to take off my mascara, and let me tell you, my mascaras are Japanese branded mascaras that hold my dead straight Asian lashes all day so the cleansing balms need to do what they are told to do - melt your makeup away. And they don’t lie 😤
It’s interesting to note Heimish balm tends to melt into like an oil texture, where as Banila Co and Clinique still feels slightly paste-y like a balm.
Bonus: they have two options to open the pot! Either a twist lid OR a cap! Two built into one! I was so amazed by this design and I was absolutely obsessed at the detail! 🤩
Overall, recommend! ✨ Can’t believe I didn’t discover this sooner and spent so much on Clinique 😭
