Enjoy zingy market fish crudo with crisp green apple, a touch of palm sugar, and lime to keep it fresh, while the light spills through the beautiful windows. Their main dish consists of a hearty lamb shoulder with labneh, peas and tamari to add some extra depth to the flavour. Fancy lunch but for a fraction of the cost - a great deal if you ask me! 

For a Casual Catch-Up

First Mates, Last Laugh, Westhaven Marina | $55pp, Three Courses

Picture this: sun, marina views, and a table filled with fresh seafood and local ingredients… you’re thinking about First Mates, Last Laugh! This spot nails the casual catch-up brief by blending South American flair with Japanese precision, wrapped in a sunlit courtyard and quirky interiors.


Let the laughter flow with fresh taquitos of your choice: choose from prawn and avo, tuna sashimi and fresh salmon, topped with a little heat to keep the night entertaining, followed by their generous grilled snapper with clams, mussels and braised leek.
