Hi Beauties, Probably most of you guys have seen the ingredient called 'Hyaluronic Acid' on K-beauty products. Hyaluronic acid is an extremely popular in K-Beauty and it becomes one of the main ingredients!!

Hyaluronic acid is type of sugar molecule that occurs naturally in the body. It helps to increase hydration in your skin💦, which can keep your skin looking fresh and glow.

When used in skin care products like creams and serums, Hyaluronic acid is best used for hydration. It brings moisture to the surface of your skin. Hyaluronic Acid has the ability to draw and hold water and it continually keeps skin moisturized, feel more hydrated and plump throughout the day.

Hyaluronic acid can be works well with Vitamin C, Vitamin B5 and Glycol Acid. The only exception would be acids with low pH levels, like glycol acid, because it may degrade the Hyaluronic Acid and make it ineffective.

The importance of Hyaluronic acid would be as we getting older and older, we will lose collagen and hyaluronic acid in our skin, it means this will make our skin becomes dehydrated more.

When our skin loses it suppleness, it starts to get fine lines and wrinkles. Hyaluronic acid also gives Anti-aging effect. It diminishes wrinkles, firmer (around the EYE👀 and LIP👄 area!!) and more toned. Using the acid to increase moisture to remove puffiness and soften fine lines on your skin. It quickly absorbs into your skin!!

    Hi Cecilia!

Yes, HA can be used with acids like AHA, BHA, and PHA. They are in fact a great combo because using exfoliant acid can often dry the skin out. HA will charge up the moisture that you need after your exfoliation done by your serum :)

Thanks for your wonderful articles, I have been reading them and learning a lot from them! Do you know if is it safe or effective to use a cream with Hyaluronic Acid as a last step when I used a serum with BHA, AHA and PHA? Thanks!
